I bought replacement lenses for my Smith Parallel Max glasses. Unfortunately they did not fit. The lenses were too thick (30-40% thicker than the original Smith lenses). MRY offered to send a second pair, but these were identical to the first so also didn’t fit. They then ghosted me when I requested a refund with photo and video evidence of their failed product.

I ordered the wrong size and it has been absolutely impossible to get a return or even an exchange for the right size. I have sent pictures of everything they asked for and all I get is a repeat email asking for the same thing. Don't order from them

I am submitting this complaint regarding MRY and their refusal to provide me with a full refund for prescription reader lenses that do not properly fit my Oakley HSTN frames.

I purchased prescription reader lenses from MRY specifically for my Oakley HSTN glasses. After receiving the lenses, I discovered that they were excessively thick and could not be properly installed into my frames.

At MRY's request, I took the lenses to a professional for installation. I subsequently took the lenses to an official Oakley store to have them installed. The Oakley store informed me that they could not install the lenses without potentially damaging the frames.

I contacted MRY and explained the situation and requested a full refund. MRY provided only a partial $30 refund and has refused to refund the remaining amount for the lenses. I do not believe it is reasonable for me to be responsible for lenses that cannot be installed into the frames they were purchased for.

I have followed the instructions provided by MRY and made a reasonable effort to have the lenses professionally installed. The issue is not that I simply changed my mind about the purchase—the lenses cannot be installed without risking damage to my expensive Oakley frames.

I am requesting that MRY:

Issue a full refund for the prescription lenses, including the remaining balance after the $30 partial refund.
Provide a prepaid return shipping label so I can return the lenses.
Alternatively, if MRY is willing to remake the lenses so that they properly fit the Oakley HSTN frames without risking damage to the frames, I would consider that option.

I have attempted to resolve this directly with MRY, but they have not provided an acceptable resolution. I am therefore asking the BBB to assist in resolving this matter.

I can provide copies of my order information, communications with MRY, proof of the partial refund, and documentation regarding the professional/Oakley store's inability to install the lenses without potentially damaging the frames.

I am requesting a fair resolution and a full refund for a product that cannot be used for its intended purpose.

They look great except that someone stole my glasses. I was supposed to get them on Friday and then I didn't get them until 4 days later.

I didn’t know they were coming from another country but, they arrived fast and fit perfectly. I’d buy them again!

Lenses did not fit. Company has not responded.

So for what you pay these lenses are pretty good. The shipping could be a little faster, maybe if they stocked in the US and laser cut custom orders domestically as well it would really help lead time come down significantly.

Ordered these recently to replaced my badly scratched original lenses. I must admit I was expecting to have to throw away my Oakley until I realised the lenses could easily be replaced. Ordered from MRY, delivery took a little while but to be expected from the states to UK. Pleasantly surprised when they arrived, fitted with ease and I now have a nearly new set of sunglasses.
